Here it is, the theme is plagued by lots of plazmic crashes which delayed the delivery by 2 days. After spending the whole night on it, it is finally done…. it is now 7am in Singapore.

Sorry for being unresponsive in dealing with forum, webby comments and emails. pure.volume is planned accordingly to the new set-up for “media” for new OS. Currently, the dials on pure.volume are, BBM, Profile, Music and Video Camera. My plan was to have the dials changed for launching Music, Videos, Pictures, File Manager when the theme builder upgrade becomes available.

- Speedy, sleek and wallpaper friendly

- Hidden Today

- 8 non-user customizable icons on home screen (horizontal scroll)

- Left equalizer (combined message main box), right equalizer (calendar)

- Yellow outer bar (batter), Green inner bar (Signal)

- Hit spacebar on homescreen for ShortcutMe or Quicklaunch (might not work at all if you have both apps active)

- Tested on OS 5 and played nicely except for dialog buttons (will update when patch is available)

Updated 13 Nov 09 – Built with the new Studio

With the recent release of the new studio, I am still trying things out. As mentioned above, when I started out this theme, I already had a feeling that the new version is coming out soon.

Hence, I’d planned it according to what OS 5 had to offer, especially the main screen shortcuts. Sad to say,  the composer (which is needed to make that happen) isn’t working correctly hence, the updates are largely done on the Theme studio itself. The studio is cool and all but without the composer, it is just not possible to change the pure.volume intended dials to videos, files, music, ringtones. Anyway, here is the change log for this update.

In addition to the above mentioned feature of pure.volume those with OS 5 installed will get:

- Screen Transitions; likely workable only with OS 5

- Fixed the dialog buttons

- Additional skinning of icons which features on OS 5, i.e pictures, videos etc with some except which I didn’t change the icons.

- User customizable font size

- pure.volume now supports the new Blackberry 9700

Theme notes:
1) Themes for 9000, 9700 & 9630 are tested on simulators only
2) Quick launch application not tested. (I don’t have it) Let me know if it don’t work
3) Kindly do a battery pull after installation of the theme and ensure that you do not have any unread messages before you do that.
